Manufacturing Engineer

Utilize CAD/CAM software, particularly SolidWorks, to design and optimize manufacturing systems and processes for boat production

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Designers, Production Managers, and Quality Assurance to ensure effective implementation of manufacturing processes and products

Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, quality control standards, assembly methods, and increased efficiency in manufacturing processes

Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including manufacturing instructions, specifications, and standard operating procedures; conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new manufacturing processes and equipment

Troubleshoot new or existing product problems that arise during the production process by proposing and implementing appropriate solutions

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely delivery of necessary materials

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing

Conduct environmental, operational, or performance tests on boat machinery and equipment.

Minimum requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, engineering, or related field.

Requires two (2) years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Build Engineer, Operations
Engineer, or related occupation working on analytical instrumentation, safety instrumentation and
process control instrumentation; performing preventative, corrective, predictive, and demand
maintenance on all electrical systems, and coordinating and working with outside agencies and
equipment vendors to procure equipment to specification. -
At least one (1) year of experience must
include SolidWorks software, interpreting and generating technical drawings and specifications, and
utilizing machining or computer numerical control (CNC) manufacturing.
